Nurse’s Office Update | nurse@gisthailand.org
As of Thursday, January 6th at 8am, the CMT is aware of 0 positive PCRs currently among GIS students and staff.

Re-enrollment physical exams are due by Monday, January 31st. We have emailed families of students who are due for a TB skin test or chest x-ray this year.

If you would like your 12-18 year old student to get a Pfizer vaccine, we recommend going to Airport Plaza, Monday-Friday 8am-3pm. For information on boosters, please visit our COVID FAQ page. We are not currently aware of any opportunities for students under age 12 to get vaccinated.

Substitute Teachers Needed | mkennedy@gisthailand.org
We have a huge need for substitute teachers! Do you find joy in working with children? You might be interested in serving with us as a substitute teacher. You don’t have to be a qualified teacher, you just need a willing heart. If you’d like to serve as a substitute teacher in elementary, please contact Mrs. Kennedy at mkennedy@gisthailand.org.

Elementary Parent Teacher Conferences have been scheduled for February.  More details will be coming in the next month.

SECONDARY

Secondary student report cards have been emailed to parents already. If you did not receive your child’s report card, please contact secondary.office@gisthailand.org. 

Parent Teacher Conferences | secondary.office@gisthailand.org 
We have rescheduled Parent Teacher Conferences for January 28. Watch next week’s edition of the Weekly Roar on how to sign-up for Parent-Teacher conferences. We will plan for these conferences and confirm as it gets closer to the day. Secondary conferences will be held on January 28 from 8:00-11:45 am and 12:45-4:15 pm.

Teachers will have weekly checklists posted in their Google Classrooms by 9am Thursday morning this week. Work is due at the same time as usual at 4pm on Friday.
