“Come rain, come shine, [come COVID-19], the show must go on!” The annual Creative Spotlight (formerly called the Art Show) is going completely digital this year in order to share the creative work of our students with each of you. We are putting together a Google Site where you can view student work from grades K-12. Save the date and stay tuned for the launch of our “show” on May 23rd!
To ensure the safety of each of our students, this website will only be viewable from a GIS email login. Therefore, in order to view the artwork, you will need your student to sign into their account and use the website link from there.

Recommendation Letter Deadline for Korean College Admissions | hjeong@gisthailand.org
For Korean college admissions, we are making May 15 the last date that a teacher can be asked to write a recommendation letter and/or other documents for a college application.
Korean college applicant students should check their inbox for an email sent by Mrs.Jeong.

Ms. Randolph will host a required Zoom meeting on Tuesday, May 26th at 4:00pm for all seniors attending graduation. She will send a Zoom invite the week the meeting will take place. This meeting will give specific instructions on what to expect during the 2020 GIS Graduation Ceremony.

The next elementary pick-up/drop-off materials day will be Thursday, May 7 from 9:00 – 11:00 am. This will be for K-3rd grades only. As before, this will be a drive through process, please remain in your vehicle. Other grade levels may be contacted by teachers to make other arrangements.

If your child(ren) would like to participate in this optional event, please have them dress up in their favorite book character on Friday, May 8. Take a 5 second or less video of them describing what character they are and send it to Mrs. Alward at ralward@gisthailand.org before May 10. Families are welcome to join in on the fun! All videos will be put together in one presentation and shared at a later date. *Please review the e-mail sent out last week for details on video specifics or contact Mrs. Alward.
