Have a baker in the house? Amazing salsa recipe? What about making a mound of kimbap? The Christmas Market is looking for a few more vendors to sell food items. Earn a little extra cash for the holidays, tables start at 50 baht!  Also, if you want to sell other items, It’s not too late to sign up to sell at the Christmas Market at GIS: Saturday, December 7th 10am – 2pm. If your child(ren) missed last week’s school-wide photos, required for the yearbook and school ID, the make-up day is tomorrow, Nov 26, from 8:15 – 9:00. Please have your son/daughter wear the navy blue polo.

*New* College Admissions Recommendation Letter Deadline – December 5 | counselor@gisthailand.org

Since January 1 (common admissions deadline) is during the GIS Christmas Break that begins on December 21, we are making December 5 the last date that a teacher can be asked to write a letter for a college application that is due on January 1 or 15.

Hope House Christmas Carnival Volunteers | rolsen@gisthailand.org

All secondary students are invited to come and join some of the TBD students to help out at the Hope House Christmas Carnival on Wednesday 4th December from 5.15pm- 8.45pm. You would help with running a game at a booth and will also get some free time to enjoy the celebrations too. Songtaews will used to transport students to and from Hope House. Tan Chin Tuan Scholarship for Rising Seniors (Current G11) | dsa.office@gisthailand.org

Grace International School, in partnership with the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation of Singapore, seeks to promote and reward educational excellence in academics, athletics, leadership/community service, and the fine arts. This scholarship honors excellence to rising seniors by providing financial scholarships to help towards tuition at either GIS or the university of their choice.

The scholarship application opened on October 4 and must be completed by 8:00 am December 9, 2019, to be eligible. This is a reminder to not wait until the last minute. Besides the possible financial reward, if you win, the experience of applying is valuable for future scholarship applications and for college itself. Here is the link to the application.
