ELEMENTARY

Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences | mkennedy@gisthailand.org
At GIS, we value partnering and communication with parents. Thus we set aside days on the calendar, without classes, for parents to meet with teachers if they desire to do so. This is optional! This is a time to discuss your child(s) academic progress.

This year, we will have all regular school day COVID precautions in place (mask, sanitizer, sign-in, and physical distancing) to stay compliant with the Ministry of Education.

Mark your calendars – October 8 & October 9: Elementary (Grades K-6) Conferences starting at 8am with the last conference at 4:00pm.

We use a conference scheduling system that allows for:

  • Canceling/re-scheduling during the scheduling time period
  • Printing/Emailing a parent’s schedule
  • Prevents double booking for staff and parents

Conference sign-ups will begin on Wednesday, September 30! Watch your email inbox for a special communication with a link to a tutorial and for the scheduling system.

SPIRITUAL LIFE OFFICE

Parent Equipping Session | jmeckfessel@gisthailand.org

Who am I? While this question persists throughout a person’s life, students in particular are faced even more heavily with this question. In this Parent Equipping Session, we want to discuss how you can engage in questions around identity that lead students back to what Jesus says is true about them, not what the world would have them believe.

We will have two sessions on Tuesday, Oct. 6th for your convenience. One will take place in the morning from 8:15-9:45am and the other will be held in the evening from 7:00-8:30pm. Light refreshments will be served at both sessions. Please RSVP through the linked google form for the session time you will attend. We hope to see you there!
