The Visual Arts Show will be on April 24 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM in the GIS Cafeteria. Come show your support for K-12 students and their amazing artwork. Everyone is welcome!

Songkran (Apr.13-15) is the traditional Thai New Year. The Thai department would like students to help celebrate this Thai holiday by wearing a Songkran shirt (flowery/Hawaiian shirt) or traditional Thai costume on Friday, April 9th.

Our Chapel Core Team applications are now available! We are looking for secondary students who want to use their passions and gifts to lead the student body in weekly chapels, worship nights, and other Spiritual Life events. Applications were sent to your students’ school email and they will be due on April 19th (the Monday after Songkran Break).

We will have our weekly prayer time in the Spiritual Life Office for secondary students and staff from 12:00-12:15pm on Wednesday at lunch.

The Senior Transition Seminar is this week!. Instead of Advisory, Tutorial, and Homeroom Seniors will attend a transition seminar in the Cafeteria with staff from the Well International. The schedule is on the Secondary Calendar. There includes a session Wednesday, April 8 between 8:00 – 9:30 AM in the Cafeteria. Breakfast is provided.

Starting the week after Songkran, there will be Mock AP Exams. All AP teachers have already communicated with their students about Mock AP Exams but the times can also be found on the Secondary Calendar. If you have questions please contact the respective AP teachers directly.

GIS is not affected by any of the COVID restrictions that warrant CollegeBoard accommodations such as digital testing or exam date/time changes; therefore, all AP exams (except AP Chinese which is computer-based) will be paper tests proctored on the worldwide testing scheduled dates and Thai times noted on the Secondary Calendar.
