Enrollment Requirements

Students who are attending a physical school or school-like setting are not eligible to enroll in HDE (online schools and homeschool co-ops are allowed). Exceptions can be requested and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

All HDE students must meet the same health requirements as full-time GIS students, even if they are not planning to participate in on-campus activities. Please read the following documents before beginning the application process.

For more information about GIS health policies, click here.

You may also find it helpful to review the HDE Handbook before beginning the application process. Upon enrollment, you will be required to sign a document stating your understanding of and agreement with the handbook.

HDE can provide very limited assistance to English-language learners.
